Membership is required to participate in Member and Guest Outtings. Guests must be accompanied on the paddle by their host who assumes responsibility for them (also a waiver is required). New Membership registrations will be accepted during the the loading and registration stage of an event. If organizers are informed ahead of time of your expected participation. SOME club equipment MAY be availabe on the first registered basis.

While it is the intention of the London Canoe Club, and it's Directors and volunteers to try to make each event as safe and as enjoyable as possible for as broad a membership as possible, it is the requirement of each member, guest, volunteer or participate to see to their own safety. This starts with obtaining the proper training, equipment and prepartion. The descriptions below are in no way a comprehensive preparation for the journey. During these outtings we will not have qualified people to instruct new comers to the sport. A firm grasp of basic strokes and rescues are a prerequesite. Some routes may not have been scouted prior to commencement of the trips and the safety of the route as well as water and weather conditions can very quickly and with out warning change and exceed the expectations of the organizers. Please come prepared with helmets, pfd and all emergency equipment and always remember that although it may be a warm day and you have no plans to go swimming you MUST dress for the water NOT the weather.

Ausable River from Thedford Conservation Area to Bayfield and back.

Participants are to meet at the Wonderland Rd. Clubhouse at 10am.

Algonquin Provincial Park Camping Trip – Rock Lake Group Campground – day trips.

Members and friends are welcome to come if only for a part of the week.
